Delta power tools are a pretty
good standard. They typically share space in the entire
market from low-priced all the way to professional
grade. With that said, typically their low priced
products tend to be a bit better than others who target the
low-end market. I can only guess that this is because
they don't want to ruin their reputation by selling
substandard tools, and with experience building professional
grade, they've shared that knowledge with their low-end
products.
Here's two items I own, the Delta
TS200 Shopmaster 10' Portable Bench Saw and the Delta
SA446 Shopmaster 4' Belt & 6' Disc Sander Unless
you're building a house, and work on the job site everyday,
then this is likely all you'll ever need. Both are
perfect for the type of use I give them, and unless you're
cutting timber 24x7 then their a great buy. And a quick
piece of advice, I've shown the saw with the legs, because
guess what... if you don't buy the one with the table, guess
what your next purchase is going to be?
All in all, I would rate Delta about an 8 out of 10 when it
comes to producing quality power tools.
